Hope y’all enjoyed the video. We have been notified that in the beginning of the video, I typed “expands you understanding” instead of “expands your understanding”. Unfortunately to fix this I would have to re-create the video from scratch – one thing I do not like about Vimeo – so I just left it as is. Hi Jade and James. Thanks so much for stopping by and for the compliment on the photograph. I saw y’all have done the Tongariro Crossing and looked like y’all enjoyed it as well.

I am working on a full review of the lens in the next month or so with I will post here, but in the mean time, I would say if you are looking for versatile and light lens that has more range than any other on the market for your DSLR, then the Tamron 18 – 270mm is the way to go. One of my few frustrations with it is the 3.5 – 6.3 minimum f-stop, but I knew that going into it and for the price, weight and range I could not find a better option. I use it on the Canon 7D and can usually just boost the ISO up if needed so as to make the 6.3 f-stop at 270 not as much of an issue. hope that helps.
