Presentations
These are presentations which we have put together and used in our classes. We teach Korean Middle School students grades one and two (Considered seventh and eight graders in American school systems).
The Name Game Version 2.0 – The Name Game 2.0 presents the students with a series of pictures of objects and animals which they will need to describe to two or three students at the front of the room who are facing away from the screen. The object of the game is to get the students excited about using English to describe the picture without saying the name of the object in the picture. We have found this game usually works best by dividing the students into teams and then having them compete to win. Also, candy is a helpful reward for the winning team to encourage participation.

Christmas Rhyming Game – The Christmas Rhyming Game presents the students with a series of riddles for which they must guess the answers. The presentation is set in such a way that if you need to show them a picture, without revealing the word, for a hint, you can. This allows the presentation to be used for both low and higher level classes. Again, we have found this game usually works best by dividing the students into teams and then having them compete to win. Also, candy is a helpful reward for the winning team to encourage participation.
