While in Kyoto, Japan Valerie and I had the opportunity to visit a traditional Japanese tea house and experience the ritualistic ceremony first hand. It was a great way to learn a little bit about Japanese culture and customs and the lady who did the ceremony was so kind and informative. If you are in Kyoto anytime soon, I highly recommend going to the En Tea Ceremony. It is an experience well worth your time. We really enjoyed the ceremony and talking to Akiko about Japanese culture and life afterwords. For more information about En including prices directions and contact info click here.
